About The Author

David L Moody

David Moody’s life has been marked by great challenges and perseverance. He was seriously injured at twelve, and the pain endured for sixty years and the multiple surgeries have continued to leave him moderately disabled. That forms the backdrop for a lifetime of physical and emotional ups and downs.

At age thirty-four, Moody suffered another accident that crushed his hip, which he had broken at age twelve. This required replacing the hip with a prosthesis, a procedure that would need to be repeated four times over the years.
In addition to the issues with his physical health, Moody had severe hearing loss, disease of the eyes, lower back injuries, and an inoperable tumor at the base of his brain—all of which led to more continued disabilities.

Despite these immense obstacles, Moody went on to build a forty-year accounting and construction-related business career. Furthermore, he directed his efforts into working to fulfill his physical limitation with perseverance, increasing his net worth despite setbacks that had cost him the same twice due to economic recessions.
